Snowman Holiday Card

Time to start the Christmas cards! I love the winter season and can’t wait for snow. It’s supposed to snow later in the week where I live but I don’t have high hopes that it will stick. There are so many winter or Christmas outlines or clip art to turn into embroideries for cards.  This snowman is so sweet with his big heart. For the white snow, I used white embroidery floss strung together with a metallic silver string. After I embroidered the design, I cut it out with scalloped edges and added it to the dark green card. The mittens and snowflake decals are from card stock stickers. They go along nicely with the Let it Snow! theme.

I found this great snowman outline on Hudson’s Holidays.

Who is Elaine?

I grew up watching my mom crafting and sewing so it was only natural that I took up doing the same hobbies. I live in Romania and came here almost five years ago, I fell in love, got married and never left. I love spending my spare time creating fun things like cards, cross stitch or stuffed animals. Please join me in the wonderful world of crafting!
