Quilled Heart Valentine

Feb 4, 2014 by     No Comments    Posted under: Cards, Paper Quilling

Ten more days until Valentine’s Day! Creating cards with paper quilling is always a joy especially Valentine’s Day cards. For this card, I had the love birds decal already from somewhere online and just printed it out to the size I wanted and matched it to the red card stock. The decal is simple yet romantic.

I quilled the large heart with two shades of pink using the husking technique. I first drew an outline of the heart  in the large size then formed the inside with light and dark strips of quilling paper before outlining it with the lighter pink.

Who is Elaine?

I grew up watching my mom crafting and sewing so it was only natural that I took up doing the same hobbies. I live in Romania and came here almost five years ago, I fell in love, got married and never left. I love spending my spare time creating fun things like cards, cross stitch or stuffed animals. Please join me in the wonderful world of crafting!
