Quilled Kisses Valentine Card

Jan 14, 2014 by     No Comments    Posted under: Cards, Paper Quilling

One more month until Valentine’s Day! I love making Valentines with paper quilling. For this card I had the kisses decal that I have been wanting to use. I thought it would go great with quilled lips and the lips are so much fun! I attached the decal with a silver grommet to the pink ribbon. The hearts are quilled by folding the paper strip in half and then quilling the coils of each side toward the fold. The lips are made with three quilled coils. The bottom coil started out a bit larger than the top two. I shaped the tops into tear drop shapes and glued them onto the bottom to form the  kiss pucker.

Who is Elaine?

I grew up watching my mom crafting and sewing so it was only natural that I took up doing the same hobbies. I live in Romania and came here almost five years ago, I fell in love, got married and never left. I love spending my spare time creating fun things like cards, cross stitch or stuffed animals. Please join me in the wonderful world of crafting!
