Quilled Vase of Flowers

Apr 18, 2011 by     No Comments    Posted under: Cards, Paper Quilling

For this vase of flowers, I started out by making the vase. I used a piece of tan card stock and drew the shape that I wanted. Then I added strips of floral origami paper for decoration. I also made a bunch of leaves and pink and yellow flower buds to surround the main flowers.

You can see in one of my other posts how to make the quilled fringed flowers. I used white petals with a pink center for them. For the red flower, I shaped the petals around pins on a cork board and then added a pink center. Then I just organized all the pieces in the vase. I wish it was real and sitting on my desk to look at :)

Who is Elaine?

I grew up watching my mom crafting and sewing so it was only natural that I took up doing the same hobbies. I live in Romania and came here almost five years ago, I fell in love, got married and never left. I love spending my spare time creating fun things like cards, cross stitch or stuffed animals. Please join me in the wonderful world of crafting!
